Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits. Psalm 68:19
HOW loving and tender is our God, and how wise
and strong!
His promises have never failed those who
have put their trust in him.
We may feel that our
efforts to be good and do good are very unproductive,
that the opposition from without and within is very
strong.
But it is when we are weak, when we realize
our own helplessness and incompetency, that we may
be strong in the Lord and in the power of his might.
It is then that we may realize that his strength is made
perfect in our weakness.
The fact that we are weak
and lame does not separate us from the love and power
of our God, while we are striving to do his will; for
"he knoweth our frame, he remembereth that we are
dust." Z'15-345 R5803:2 (Hymn 185)
